Prior to my teaching career, I passionately enjoyed working in sales, including retail. I began my first job when I was a junior in high school. Along with assisting customers and families in planning for proms and weddings, I also assisted customers in coordinating appropriate attire and ensured that customers were fitted comfortably before placing final orders. Many customers would recommend friends and family members to shop at stores I worked in because of my excellence in customer service and ensuring customers felt good about themselves.
In addition to having experience in retail, I also have experience waiting tables in three different restaurants during most of my college years, while being willing to work double shifts many days and nights. I was an excellent waitress because of the confidence I had within myself, and learned very quickly to meet the needs of my customers. Many customers would return often and ask for me to wait on them.
As a college student, I worked on campus to make phone calls for fundraisers and completed various tasks, including clerical work and other duties assigned. Though hours were flexible, I was always willing to work overtime if needed. In addition, I was a resident assistant in a group home for people with severe special needs. Finally, I worked on a college campus as a day care assistant helping preschool teachers meet the needs of little ones each day.
My dream job for many years has been to be a flight attendant. I love to be on an airplane! I would be happy to provide services to passengers and ensure their comfort and safety while maintaining a calm, positive attitude. I would do an awesome job each day, and my schedule allows me to pursue this career now. I believe I would be an excellent candidate to be considered for employment and send to training as a flight attendant if given the chance.
I enjoy being on my feet and quick to assist in situations requiring my service. I enjoy flying, traveling, and communicating with people. I am not afraid to tackle an emergency situation should one arise on a plane, and I would keep the good of the people in mind should I be hired as a flight attendant. I am willing to learn what I need to and would continue looking forward to educating myself to become the best flight attendant I could possibly be.
I am attractive, physically fit, alert, and healthy-minded. I would love the spontaneity and excitement of waking up to a job I know I would love. I am known to be calm-natured oftentimes and realize the necessity of maintaining calmness on an airplane to assist in providing the safest environment possible for passengers.
I would love to have the chance to interview with you and be considered a candidate for your opening as a flight attendant. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
