For the past six years with Greystar although my title reflects Make Ready Specialist, I have been multitasking between both Make Ready and Maintenance Technician.

As a Make Ready Specialist I am tasked with the following to walk through homes that have recently gone vacant, and identify and repair any discrepancies from the previous resident. This includes but is not limited to all aspects of the home ranging from any structrual, electrical, plumbing repair to appliance and hvac repair. I have on occassion done when needed the quality control walk on other make ready homes.

As a Maintenance Technician, I utilize my skills as a Make Ready Specialist to complete Service tickets in a timely manner. At times I often complete roughly around 13 tickets myself, and then see if anyone else needs help completing task that are given to them. Aside from completing service tickets, I also manage and distribute work orders to the team. When time permits, at the warehouse I will often repair damaged appliances, or possibly salvage any parts from irreparable appliances. Other duties around the warehouse are subjected to but not limited to tracking and going on supply runs as needed. During the On-Call rotation, I complete the task needed for the pool on daily basis; which includes the chemical readings, generating the Leonardo report, cleaning the deck and up keeping the pavilion areas and restrooms. On an as needed bases I also, make the necessary repairs to the leasing and service vehicles.
