· Conduct specialized chemical, physical. and/or biological analysis of evidentiary materials.

· Experience utilizing Headspace Analysis using Gas Chromatography with Flame Ionization detector (GC-FID).

· Generate, review and approve detailed forensic technical reports.

· Manage the inventory and tracking of evidence to ensure compliance with chain of custody standards.

· Provide testimony regarding the findings of analysis and examination of evidence as an expert witness in court

· Coordinate evidence processing at crime scenes by photographing, maintaining detailed documentation, and ensuring the proper collection/preservation of evidence.

· Maintain quality control of equipment and confirm that they are properly serviced.

· Develop and improve laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency of testing.

· Frequently evaluate uncertainty of measurement budget and verify critical reagents.

· Collaborated with different ANAB assessments.

· Lead annual internal audits in the different accredited sections of the laboratory

· Oversee training of new personnel in biology, toxicology (blood alcohol) and crime scene processing.

· Participate in case conferences providing insights to law enforcement officers, prosecutors and defense attorneys.
