Supported the operations assistant manager ensuring the stores cash management is handled effectively for the store throughout the day by verifying transactions, preparing the vault, managing cashier tills and conducting financial reporting for the store. Office associates are also responsible for associates time keeping. While in the back office our associates are our customers. Working in a timely matter to help them with their times, getting supplies or an apron for them ensures they are ready to hit the sales floor ready and prepared. When we are on the sales floor we are held to the same standards as floor associate. The ASDS ( associate support department supervisor)reports directly with the Store Manager as well as working closely with District Human Resources Manager. Ensuring scheduling for all store associates are being fair, consistent and on completed on time. As well as staffing to ensure the store is staffed efficiently going into and out of seasons. Creating, managing and closing job requisitions in a timely manner. ASDS's are responsible for onboarding new associates in such matters as paperwork, orientation and training. As well as maintaining all the commons areas ( break room, training room and digital communication boards are cleaned, stocked and up to date. ASDS's must at all times maintain confidentiality.
