Supports the operations assistant manager, ensuring the stores cash is handled effectively for the store through out the day by verifying transactions, preparing the vault, managing cashier tills and conducting financial reporting for the store. While in the back office our customers are our store associates. Working in a timely manner to help them with their times, gathering supplies for their departments or replacing their store aprons, so they can get back to what truly matters helping our customers. While on the sales floor we are held to the same standards as store associates. We are engaged with GET, greet, engage and thank our customers. Ensuring our customers has the ultimate customer experience.

  • May 2023 - March 2017 Associate Support Department Supervisor

Reports directly with the Store Manager and indirectly with the District Human Resource Manager. Confidentiality is of the most importance in the position at all times. Ensuring scheduling for all store associates are fair and consistent as well as completed on time. Working closely with the Store Manager on staffing ensuring the store is staffed efficiently going into and out of season. Create, managing and closing requisitions in a timely matter. It is the responsibility of the ASDS to schedule and along side the Store Manger conduct onboarding new associates in such matters as paperwork and training. Maintaining all the command areas such as breakroom, training room and restrooms are cleaned stocked and up to date.

Responsible for overseeing operations and work activities of the associates at the Customer Service desk, key metrics for productivity, safety and shrink. Department Supervisors are accountable for their associates performance, as well as directing their associates to preform top priorities and ensuring the delivery of GET, greet, engage and thank our customers.
