• Provides crisis intervention and stabilization for acute behavioral health situations, ensuring patient safety and proper treatment implementation.
• Collaborates with psychiatrists to adjust medication regimens, optimizing therapeutic effectiveness while minimizing side effects.
• Maintaines accurate documentation of patient progress, evaluations, treatments, and medication administration in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates discharge planning efforts with social workers, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members for smooth transitions post hospitalization.

• Provides comprehensive support to surgeons in both roles as a circulator and scrub nurse in the following specialties:

- Orthopedic (sports medicine, total joint replacement, hand/ podiatry, orthopedic spine and orthopedic oncology)

- Neuro/ Spine/ Pain Management

- Peripheral Vascular but not limited to EV, AAA's( endo/ open)

- Thoracic

- General (laparoscopic/ open, oncology, and bariatric)

- GYN (laparoscopic/ open, oncology, and C- section)

- Urology (cystoscopy and bottom surgery)

- Plastics

• Floated within Pre- Admission Testing, Pre-op, OR (circulate/scrub), and PACU (phase 1/ phase 2) as needed at the following surgical ambulatory centers:

- Denville Surgery Center

- Milburn Surgery Center

- Cedar Knolls Surgery Center

- Rigdedale Surgery center

- Advance Surgery Center of Clifton

- Florham Park Surgery Center

- Mine Hill Surgical Center

- West Morris Surgery Center

- Center of Modern Surgery

• Evaluated patients to detect contraindications before anesthesia or scheduled surgery.
• Created warm, supportive atmosphere to keep patients feeling safe and comfortable immediately before and after surgery.
• Documented treatments delivered, medications and IVs administered, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Educated family members and caregivers on patient care instructions.
