
My name is Dr. Mercy Eseme- Efobi, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in patient-focused Family and Psychiatric nurse practitioner, with 20 years of comprehensive experience in nursing, encompassing acute and long-term care, I have consistently upheld a strong reputation for achieving exemplary levels of patient satisfaction. Over the past 9 years, I have fulfilled the role of a provider in a family/geriatric clinic, managing a minimum of 15 patients and assuming responsibility for coding and billing, evaluating and diagnosing. Concurrently, I served as a provider/clinical coordinator at a women's shelter in DC, which housed 230 beds, for a duration of 3 years. Furthermore, I have demonstrated my commitment to education by acting as a preceptor to Master students from distinguished institutions such as Walden University, George Washington University, and Chamberlain. I am eager to leverage my wealth of experience and expertise to contribute to the success of your esteemed facility. To achieve a wholistic patient care I went back to school and studied to become a Mental health Provider; for the past 4 years I have being practicing as both a Family and Psychiatric DNP nurse Practitioner.
