Projects

Night at the Egyptian Museum, Each student chooses a topic to explore that fascinates them about ancient Egypt. Their research is focused on the creation of driving questions that students develop with the guidance of their teacher. Students research and complete an essay, presentation, and project on their historical topic. We celebrate as a class during our Culminating Event. Parents are invited to take part in the evening where students act as docents to lead them through their Egyptian museum. Shakespeare Unshackled, 7th-grade students complete a play 'Shakespeare Unshackled' in front of their parents as a celebration of their learning. I have been supporting and guiding students as they prepare for this event. This play comes at the end of our unit on the Renaissance in Europe. Students have researched historical figures from the Renaissance and give a presentation that connects their figures to the impact they had on history we can still see today.
