I am currently a Lead pharmacy technician. I have worked as a technician for almost ten years and have been a lead for three of them. My job consists of ordering medication (including controlled substances), managing other technicians, onboarding, training, and consulting with pharmacists/insurance companies/doctors offices to best assist patients. I was made a lead even though at the time I was not working full-time due to school which is unprecedented for my company however my skill set was developed enough that they still gave me the position over others. I have a habit of bringing the crew together and optimizing team functioning and wellness. I am driven, authentic, caring, empathetic, and efficient. I was even transferred from my store to another one in order to re-train their technicians and serve as a functional lead for a store that has not had one. Our retention rate improved and our overall ratings from customers also improved. I am known throughout my company as being reliable, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist other employees.

Personally, I wish to bring clients greater life satisfaction, increased resiliency, and the ability to stay in the present moment. I use psychoeducation, mindfullness-based practices, and some existential leanings to a counseling session. While a counselor job is not to "save someone," I believe it is to help someone build their tool box in order to save themselves. In the future, I wish to focus on addiction and trauma and believe that I would be a good fit at your facility while I gain more experience. I also would like to stay with the company I do my internship through and have heard great things about your facility. Thanks in advance for reading this and considering my placement. Any additional questions I'd be happy to answer anytime. Have an excellent day!
