• Performed hydrostatic testing both high and low pressure to DOT 49 CFR 180.205 requirements for pressurized cylinders including testing, inspecting and certifying hazardous high pressurized cylinders for safe transporting.
• Assisted fire suppression technician in the installation of pre-engineered dry and wet chemical suppression systems. I was able to get the understanding on how to design and install systems based on manufactured specs and code requirements from NFPA 17 and 17a and UL300 requirements.
• Assisted in performing fire alarm inspections with certified fire alarm service technicians. I was able to get the experience in the service requirements needed to perform fire alarm inspections and service based on code standards from NFPA 72.
• Provided support in field service to maintain customer base by providing portable fire extinguisher service and fire suppression test and inspecting.

I enrolled into the college to utilize my artistic skills to achieve a career in Industrial Designing because I like to work with my hands and build things. The college offered a program that encompassed achieving a Bachelors degree in multiple fields from architect and building design to sculpturing or basically being able to take whats created on paper and actually turning into life. I was wanting to get into automotive designing and Ford Motor Company sponsored the curriculum that I was wanting to achieve.

Unfortunately I was young and struggling on my own and had to drop out due to financial struggles.
