answering inquiries from employees and managers involving incorrect hours being reported as well as understanding their paychecks via email or phone.
one of the 2 reps that processes the bi-weekly payroll from bringing the hours in from the Kronos time keeping system into the Oracle payroll software.
Processes and sends ACH bank files for each payroll, as well as tax files.
runs and verify cost accounting reports after payroll is run to make sure payroll is in balance . This includes processing the general ledger report and sending fixes for accounts that error out when it is run from another system. .
main contact for the 409A non qualfied deferred compensation monthly payroll. This involves receiving information from Fidelity and processing payments for the participants listed. Also working with other departments if there are issues. Seetting up any new participants tax and direct deposit information. Answering any questions or concerns these payees may have, including dealing, on occasion, with their financial advisors.
Rup Testing which involves testing different functions of the payroll system after tax related updates . This means running test checks to verify the tax info is calculating correctly.
Creating via Excel 2 monthly reports; one for MBTA employee deductions and Employer payment. The other report is for the parking deduction. This information is found from another report from our KBace system.
