• Everyone has something in their life that tests their resilience. For me, this was when I was 12, and my father took his life. I do not talk about this or share this often, but it is part of my story and has shaped the person I am today. I learned early on that excuses and self-pity do not solve problems; you must face your adversity head-on and make changes. I am the type of person who trusts the process and believes that hard work pays off. I have an outstanding work ethic and am always eager to find ways to better myself.
• These traits are obvious when you look at how I choose to live. My commitment to baseball and the various awards I received for outstanding work both on and off the baseball diamond. I have also had several jobs in high school to help pay for club baseball fees, lessons, and baseball gear. I volunteer and give back to those who need help through two organizations, the National Honor Society and YMSL
