I am a current sophomore fashion design student at Marist College and I am looking for future internship and job opportunities. I am currently a Sewing Studio Tech Assistant at Marist college, where I service all of the machines and equipment in the Fashion Design sewing studios. I was very active in my high school art program helping underclassmen build sustained AP portfolios, develop project ideas, and help with their college application process. I have also enjoyed many years of mentoring young dancers as a pre-professional ballet company dancer and participating in Q & A sessions at shows with inner-city youth. I bring my prior knowledge in sewing from my high school textile classes, years of volunteering to help execute costumes for school plays, ballet productions, and academic competitions as an asset. I am also skilled in adobe creative suite programs. I am very invested and hard-working, patient with others, and I possess a friendly and welcoming demeanor. After experiencing my first year at college, I have increased and added a new variety of skills I am ready to put to good use in the industry. I am also currently enrolled in an Excel class where I will get certified in the application at the end of the semester.
