Mia Regalado

Every September, I work as a ticket master at the front gate of the Idyllwild Renaissance Faire. My responsibilities include selling and verifying all of the park's tickets, which would include parking tickets as well. I also sold merchandise, verified the ages of guests who intended to drink within the park, and verified that all potential weapons included in costumes were secure. My experience at this job has allowed me to interact pleasantly with many individuals, taught me to work well under pressure, and to balance multiple job responsibilities at once.

I worked for the Exeter Union School District on the Rocky Hill Elementary School campus tutoring second graders and assisting in fourth grade classrooms. I was responsible for creating lesson plans, teaching students new concepts, and strengthening their knowledge of concepts learned during regular classes. My time as a tutor on this campus allowed me to develop valuable interpersonal skills including patience, leadership, and cooperation.

I auditioned, secured, and performed a lead role in a series of videos for the Visalia Unified School District. These videos were created to inform both middle school and high school-aged students about college and career readiness. I researched for the role, assisted in script changes, memorized lines, and adjusted my performance based off of the feedback I received from the director. As a result of my time with Zach Green Films, my ability to receive instruction and adjust my performance based on the feedback I receive is superb.
