Biology Experience

• Contributed to Professor's peer-reviewed publication on galls and gall wasps in Oregon as a part of Biological Inquiry Lab.
• Researched the impact galls have on the chlorophyll contents of Oregon White Oak as compared to ungalled leaves.
• Created testable hypotheses, collected and analyzed data in a lab setting in Biological Inquiry Lab, and in Experimental Methods to further research and develop collaborative skills.
• Developed multiple posters based on research and scientific papers to present to my university community in Biological Concepts II, General Chemistry I/II, and Biological Concepts I.

Chemistry Experience

• Utilized knowledge based on lab technique experience in General Chemistry I/II to work collaboratively on a poster presented in a faculty and peer poster session.
• Applied knowledge of techniques in General Chemistry I/II including electrolysis, oxidation reactions, and precipitation reactions to conduct experiments involving determining Acetic Acid content of different Vinegars, finding multiple oxidation states of Manganese, etc.
