I desire to reach people of all ethnic groups for the glory of God. I love working with people and challenging them to strengthen their personal walks and stand firmly on their faith.
Teaching and equipping people today to actively minister tomorrow.
I am a born-again Christian who accepted Christ on December 12, 1993, at the age of 12.
My parents taught me the love of Christ and what it meant to have a one-on-one relationship with the Lord. I grew up in the church, but never thought that I would be called to serve as a minister to students. At the age of 15, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Through her battle with cancer and the love of our church, I saw how amazing serving God could be. I saw God in a new way and began to have a passion to teach His word. At this point in my life, I knew that God was calling me to be a minister for Him. At the age of 16, I preached my first sermon and have continued to share God's word with others since.
I attended school at East Texas Baptist University where I developed my knowledge of the word of God. Through ETBU I gained a great respect for missions in the states and overseas. Through my work in the church and on the foreign mission field, I have seen thousands come to know Christ as their personal savior. It is my desire to lead men, women, youth and children into a faith with God that will allow them to minister daily. I have a desire to see people grow in their faith and I am so thankful for the overflowing joy Christ has brought to my life.
Through my mission trip to Kenya in 2001, I met my lovely wife, Laurie. She loves the Lord and has been beside me ministering since we met. Laurie and I have two beautiful daughters who both have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to serve in many different roles in the church.
