  • Authored new training course for IATA titled, Ground Handling Management.
  • Assisted in curriculum development, ensuring alignment with state standards and best practices for effective instruction.
  • Developed and clearly presented classroom rules, guidelines and objectives.
  • Initiated new learning methods, eliminating instructional gaps and improving comprehension.
  • Tested and evaluated students on materials presented in workshops and classes.

  • Reviewed current practices and processes in place and determined if current staff members may possibly transition to the new facility for which I was to build.
  • Presented the concept of a new Operations Control Center (OCC) to the executive leadership for their approval.
  • Presented the training course (of which I am the author) for advanced, tactical, flight operations management - of which selected employees would be required to satisfactorily complete.
  • Presented future procedural changes to affected departments.
  • Employed current I.T. employees to install and train OCC staff on the new I.T. hardware, software, and radio-telephone equipment.
  • Employed local carpenters to build workstations and remodel OCC location.
  • Successfully created, built, and implemented the OCC with great fanfare and appreciation.

  • Oversaw all daily flight operations across multiple departments, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Developed systems and procedures to improve operational quality and team efficiency.
  • Monitored budget and utilized operational resources.
  • Designed, built, and implemented a Global Operations Control Center (GOCC) which highly improved operational efficiency of the airline.
  • Trained all GOCC staff with updated and new practices and procedures.
  • Successfully negotiated with the South African Air Traffic Control management which enables increased air traffic - in and outbound.
  • Successfully negotiated with foreign governments to enable overflight, and to ensure proper equipment was available and functional at each airport the airline served.
  • Managed budgets and resources, optimizing allocation for maximum impact on business objectives.
  • The terror attacks on the U.S. on 9/11/2001 ended my contract with the airline. The local government determined that WWIII was beginning and they determined they would not take part in it. Thus, all expatriates were required to return to their home country.
