• Cut, grined, prepped, beveled and fit piping and supports. Ensured piping was affixed to coordinates. Read and interpreted Isometrics drawings and followed all safety rules according to company policy.

• Painted and sandblasted pipe racks, vessels, and storage tanks.

• Worked as a helper for a new construction plastic plant. Worked as a bolt up fitter to assemble and install piping for air, ammonia, gas, and water systems: Cuts or drills holes in walls to permit passage of pipes, using pneumatic drill. Selects specified type and size of pipe.Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold pipe. Construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks or vats, following blueprints. Work involves use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, or turnbuckles.

• Painted and sandblasted tanks. Read work orders and received instructions. Erected scaffolding and swing gates,and set up ladders, to work above ground level. Painted pipes, and mechanical equipment.

• Sandblasted and painted tanks, pipes, valves, vessels, and equipment.

• Examined and inspected work progress, equipment, and construction sites. Read blueprints to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures. Estimated material and worker requirements to complete jobs. Supervised, coordinated, and scheduled the activities of construction and extractive workers.
