Summary

After nearly 36 years working in the Wesleyan Central Power Plant on the 3rd and the 2nd shifts as well as responding to campus trouble calls as needed during those times I believe I am well suited to take over the campus utility mechanic full time. I enjoy working with students, faculty and staff in order to solve any issues that may come up after hours. Trouble calls may involve issues with heating, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, the locksmith or pest control. I have a working relationship with many members of physical plant outside of the Central Power Plant and I have the ability to reach out for immediate assistance if needed or to refer a problem for future correction via the work order system.

In addition to power plant duties, I respond to campus trouble calls as needed, which involves collaborating with Public Safety, students, faculty, staff, the fire department, and the police department in order to resolve issues after normal working hours and on weekends.
