Summary

I have been a working steamfitter in local 638 for over 30 years. Due to the effects of covid, the economy and non union labor, it is having a drastic effect and employment is becoming scarce. I am looking to be in a permanent position that I can count on and to not have to travel to NYC. MY work ethic is to go above and beyond to get the job done. I am reliable and can be counted on.

  • I have been employed by local 638 for over 30 years
  • I have a vast amount of experience working on A/C and heating systems
  • My experiences includes, but not limited too; -Preventative maintenance, which includes changing belts valves and filters
  • Changing TXV valves -changing bearings and shafts -Install mini split units as well as service them -Install contactors, condenser and evaporator fan motors, blower motors, induced/ draft motors, ignition control modular (gas systems) -Install or replace condenser and air handlers -Reclaim refrigerant (ref recovery machine) -Pull systems into vacuum (operate vacuum machine) -Change condenser and evaporator coils -Troubleshoot A/C and heating systems -Familiar with troubleshooting for leaks -Nitrogen testing -Familiar with refrigerant R410a, R22 (R407c & m099 drop in ) -vast experience brazing and solodering
