Working at Gates for over 23 years, I think their are very few individuals in this job that understands more of how product flows through the plant from warehouse to the truck leaving than myself. I have been apart of Creating and Scheduling orders in oracle, to releasing them to the floor and making sure deadlines are reached. I have created ways of looking at components that run through my area, then comparing them to plated inventory in the warehouse and creating a finite to ensure the plant can stay running efficiently. First to achieve this in plating. I have worked with suppliers over the years some new bringing cost reduction into the while also communicating with them when delivery dates are not met, to make sure we don't run shut the plating process down. I have been part of number of cost saving projects over the years.

Worked in Brazing and the Bending areas was trained to run ever bender and brazer included all support equipment to get product through the area. was tasked with training new associates, while getting solid production numbers.
Worked as a lead in the braze and bending areas, helping train new associates and scheduling work to help the area be more efficient. the biggest project i was involved in as a lead in this position was mated the stakers to the benders in the area. with bender run rates upwards of 600 per hour and staker rates of 450, we quickly realized even 450 and hr by doing both operators together freed up capacity in finishing but also eliminated some transportation issues across the plant. i was apart of several projects over my time including the implementation of the cobra cell.
