Assigned to Felony Intake: Domestic Violence Team. Regularly appeared and argued In re Humphrey bail motions in arraignment court. Personally handled a case load: case evaluation, informed clients of their constitutional rights, directed further investigation, negotiated resolution with the DA, regularly communicated with clients, filed and argued appropriate pre-trial motions.
Attended judicial proceedings, conducted legal research, and wrote bench memorandum in an effort to aid the Judge in her decision-making process.
Wrote over 15+ opposition motions, conducted legal research, and wrote legal memorandum. Successfully argued in a number of hearings on a variety of issues. Appeared in arraignment court, responded to defense requests for discovery, and provided disposition recommendations on hundreds of misdemeanor cases.
