Additional Information

I am 62 years old and a lifelong resident of Auburn Township. I have been a dedicated member of Auburn Volunteer Fire Department since 1979, and worked my way up the ranks to assistant chief. I am a career police officer and retired from South Russell Police Department, and now work part time for University Hospital Police Department. I have the time to dedicate myself to Troy Township and its residents, and will be available to respond to, and handle any call for service. I grew up on Shaw Road and have a deep connection to Troy, and now live on Stafford Road, less than half mile from the Troy border.

I have current emergency medical technician, firefighter II (Full fire academy) certifications. I also have a plethora of additional trainings and experience's to bring to the job. I would be a "working" chief and make sure our shifts are covered. I will not come in like a "bull in a china shop" and disrupt the dedicated members of your fire department. My goal will be to make Troy Fire Department the best agency in the area, and recruit qualified members. The foundation is already in place, and just needs good leadership.

My availability is close to full time, and in my absence I will have a plan in place to see to it calls are covered. My intentions are to work hand in hand with the trustees and the community, with no hidden, or personal agendas. I am qualified for the job and will not let the township, its residents, nor the township trustees down. Thank you for your consideration to serve your community.
