Work History

Fire Apparatus Engineer

Merced County Fire
08.2022 - Current
  • During my time at station 71 I am very well emersed in the Merced County Rescue Team where I have taken part in multiple trainings as well as many classes to better my knowledge within the rescue realm.
  • Working at the Battalion 17 Headquarters Station has exposed me to a lot of Public Relations Events similar to the City of Atwater. I enjoy getting out and representing myself and the department I work for with pride especially when it comes to the community that I live in.
  • Station 71 has taught me good time management skills. Although 71 is not a busy station call volume wise it is busy in other aspects when it comes to running the county rescue team as well as being the hub for the entire battalion.
  • I've had the opportunity to manage the PCF program for my station so I have learned how to work well in tandem with our volunteers by training with them and holding them accountable to our standards and I look forward to doing the same with the Reserve FFs in the City of Atwater.

Seasonal Firefighter 1

CAL FIRE MMU
08.2019 - 04.2022

  • Worked 3 Busy Fire Seasons where I had the opportunity to fight fire in the Wildland Setting all over the State.
  • Collaborated with fellow firefighters to accomplish tasks and projects around the fire station.
  • Stayed well involved with training during my off seasons where I was able to take some of my JAC classes as a FF1 early which later helped with with accomplishing my goal to become an FAE as well as a becoming a well rounded Firefighter.
