Responsible for the set up and operation of the CNC threader as well as the inspection of the finished product to API specifications using various gauges and micrometers to .003 tolerance.

NDT level II certification using UT and mag particle

CNC machinist in the production cylinder heads and crank shafts for the 6.0 and 6.4 powerstroke diesel engines. 

Quality inspections performed on many data points to +/- 5 microns as well as surface finish measurements using Ra and Rz.

Equipment used: Lamb tranfer line machining centers, Mori Seiki lathes and Landis surface grinding machining centers

Set up and operation of various CNC machining centers and drilling operations for the production of brake drums, hubs, wheels and rotors for over the road trucks.
