Michael Coleman

Responsible for planning out the day to day work on an asset. Working with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Asset Leader to develop a plan for the day to correct issues that the asset is having and prioritizing the work. Troubleshoot processing and mechanical issues to get asset back running. Changed out parts that were broke or worn on the asset. Working with Electrician to get all electrical issues resolved. Helps train operations on how to run and troubleshoot asset.

Project Process Specialist for 3 years.

Worked on projects and start ups with a project team. First ones to see projects that where coming and was involved in the planning for the project. Had to travel to work on the projects and start ups in other production plants. Troubleshoot the process and come up with ideas to help make the assets run better.

Grade Change Leader for 3 years.

Responsible for changing over baggers and casepackers on the assets to run different counts and codes. Change overs were done mechanically and electrically. Troubleshoot baggers and casepackers when not running correctly. Had to change out parts that broke or worn out. Worked with Maintenance to get other assignments done around the plant.

Machine Operator for 8 years.

Work my way up to Lead Operator on several assets. Was responsible for running a crew of 5 people to keep the asset running. Made sure that I shared knowledge and trained my crew so that we could run the asset efficiently.

Ran multiple themoforming assets. Had to clean heaters, presses and dies to keep asset running properly. Troubleshoot the asset and call Maintenance when help was needed. Was working on being an Operator Mechanic when I left to go to Kimberly-Clark.

Safely loaded and unloaded trucks using multiple kinds of lifts. Helped with the maintenance on the lifts. Took inventory of the warehouse.
