President & General Manager

  • The role of President shall be to work closely with the COO to ensure that all the important day-to-day aspects of the front office are accomplished and successful.
  • Additionally, the President shall work as the General Manager serving to work with the Technical Director to assemble the players and staff that will become the team.
  • - Provide direction to the front office staff to ensure the effectiveness of the day-to-day operations of the club.
  • - Work with COO to establish goals for each employee that are defined and attainable to meet/exceed the goals of the club. This includes goals for revenue and other milestone accomplishments for each employee.
  • - Work with the VP of Soccer Operations ongoing with respect to the stadium deal and any improvements/enhancements made or required.
  • - Work as the ambassador of the club within the community to promote the club each day to local youth and adult soccer clubs.
  • - Provide direct assistance to sales team to aide their selling experiences with large corporate sponsors.
  • - Point person with NASL corporate office to senior management and serve as an alternate on the NASL Board of Governors.
  • - Attend any required NASL club meetings.
  • - Work closely with Technical Director to assemble a team of players and staff to represent the club.
  • - Lead scouting of collegiate, domestic and international players by creating a local combine for participants.
  • - Lead and direct local try-out's as needed.
  • - Extensive ongoing contact with players and clubs to execute signings, loan agreements and trades.
  • - Negotiate and execute contracts.
  • - Work closely with the VP of Soccer Operations to ensure that all team travel and player needs are met.
  • - Execute an apparel deal for team uniforms.
