To grow my knowledge serving as a leadership technician in a POP, TAC, NOC, Engineering, or OSP roll to assist in a company’s success.

More than twenty years of total experience as a Telecommunications technician, including national awards for meritorious service and excellence in the U.S. Army. I’ve worked on numerous vendor equipment platforms which include Alcatel/Lucent, Tellabs, Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia. Covering the following area sites that included Dallas, Ft. Worth, Waco, Abilene, San Angelo, TX, and Tulsa, Oklahoma City, OK, and all interconnecting Regeneration/Amp/ILA sites in between. I’ve assisted in the installation, provisioning, test & turn up, and troubleshooting of numerous SONET DWDM, ROADM and Add Drop Multiplexer systems forming multiple fiber optic rings UPSR & BLSR). I’ve installed various types of Ethernet equipment via a base load or upgrading the base load and scripting. I've installed numerous platforms to DC rectifier plant. I’ve installed RR’s (relay racks) per engineering design. I’ve used multiple test sets and performed testing on multiple circuit types from T1 to 10G LAN PHY & Ethernet. Used numerous GUI interfaces to perform provisioning, test & turn-up, and troubleshooting of circuits or equipment. I’ve been responsible for coordinating the upkeep of HVAC, FM200, UPS and backup generator systems with contracted vendors. Responsible for a company vehicle to get to all sites in coverage area.
