  • The Drill was my responsibility, I did maintenance on it and cleaned it really well once a week, with all the work trucks

  • I operated the Directional Drill, I would get to the shop before the other guys and get the drill loaded on the truck and trailer with all the tools needed for the day
  • I would be given the prints for the drill shots and go out to the site

  • After all holes were opened up I would walk the job with an inspector, he would make sure all holes were at depth [48 inch], with all utilities were located and that the Drill was safely set up
  • The inspector would then sign off on a daily sheet, that was turned in at the end of the day
  • The daily sheet was a record of what was done for that day
  • I would do on average 10 drill shots a day
  • At the end of the day I would lead my guys in the clean-up, such as all grass put back to the best way it could go
  • All signs and cones were picked up and loaded on the truck
  • When the job site was all cleaned and all tools and equipment were put away we would go back to the yard where I would clean the Drill and truck for the next day

Qualifications And Achievements

Post-secondary education, no degree or certificate, SPJC, 06/10/05, I attended Mud class for six years in a row at Ditch Witch in central Florida. Every year we would go to a class on new equipment and proper mud mixing. I also was trained by EQUI Bore in heavy equipment, Loader & Trucks, though I have no CDL I can operate and would like to get my CDL. I am also trained in pipe fusing., driver license, DMV - Pennsylvania, 05/01/19, 06/30/23

Additional Information

As of right now I am working with my father-in-law kip Parris, kips tile he's a contractor for the degols, home Depot etc and I've been doing this for the past few months I'm looking for steady employment somewhere I can possibly retire from I'm 47 years old and I'm looking for long-term employment ,not short-term employment.
