Assign and communicate work instructions to complete tasks.

Operate overhead crane when mill is working or maintenance needs to be done.

Review and make sure instructions on Mill tickets are correct and make adjustments if needed.

Order in and manifest all steel to be processed. Fill out rejection sheet if needed. Fillout and turn in all payroll for department.

Communicate with maintenance when repairs are needed.

Communicate with management on daily production.

Daily operations of water treatment facility

*sludge removal through use of chemical (coagulant, flocculant)

*separate oil and contaminates through chemical reaction for oil reclaiming

*operations of filter press of sludge for disposal

• Lead operation and maintenance of waste water treatment facilities, construction of new systems, ground dewatering systems
• Heavy metal precipitation through the use of chemicals (coagulants, flocculants and pH adjustment)
• Sludge removal, filter press operation
• Operation of biological systems (bugs), Geo Tubes, Extraction Wells, Vapor Extraction, Injection Wells, Air Strippers
• Also, sampling ground wells, gathering analytical samples, and filling out Change of Custody forms
• Working locations include: Marcellus Shale Project, Williamsport, Pa; Newark Energy Plant, Port Newark, NJ; BICC Cable, Yonkers, NY, Goodyear, Arizona

• Excavating and treatment of ground water – Rochester Gas & Electric Sites - Canandaigua, NY/Rochester, NY
• Setup of water treatment plant
• Operating and maintaining of plant by maintaining tank levels, pump rates, pH levels, proper chemical dosing; maintaining pressures on bag and cartridge filters, plus carbon and resin vessels; changing bag and cartridge filters, dewatering sludge and running it through a filter press
• In addition gathering of analytical samples and filling out change of custody forms
• Setup and demobilization of a water treatment plant
• Operating and maintaining systems
• Maintaining flow rates by monitoring pressures on bag filters and carbon vessels
• Changing bags as needed; maintaining chemical dosing, compounding and adjusting as needed
