Exam Proctor/Security. My tasks include all of the following: Checking candidates in.
- Ensuring that the ID policy for each client is being followed correctly. There are over 80 clients and each of them have different rules regarding IDs, what they can do on break, IF they can even take a break, and what they're allowed to bring into the testing room.
- Standard security checking of candidates before the enter the testing room. Emptying of pockets, rolling up sleeves/pant legs, and using a handheld metal detector to ensure they enter the testing room with only materials provided by me.
- Active proctoring. Proctor the room every 10 minutes, and proctor each individual camera every 10 minutes.
- Check-in process involves taking fingerprints, taking photos, having them sign (and making sure their signature matches their ID), and having them verify a piece of information. This 3 step process is done to ensure I'm checking in the correct candidate for the correct exam. NO room for mistakes.
- Maintaining compliance with ALL test center policies and their sponsors.
- Supervise a room filled with 22 candidates all taking computer-based examinations at a time, and accommodating them on their breaks.
- TCAs are the face of Prometric, so I always welcome my candidates with a friendly demeanor.
I worked as a Payroll employee for Chase Bank back in 2018 for about 1 year. My general tasks included: opening mail, inputting data into the computer, attending corporate meetings, double-checking co-workers work (this was SOP), and keeping personalized data in Excel.
