Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain controlled documents like work instructions and quality alerts.
• Planning and concept creation of new automations and machines to increase quality and quantity, to
  reduce scrap, or to run new parts.
• Train colleagues on robots, PLC, CAD systems, and automation systems
• Establish new tooling, procedures, and safeguards to optimize line flow and operator safety
• Preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
• Continuous line improvements on 4+ high volume automotive part lines
• Ensure OEE and QA standards are met regularly

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Minimize downtime by providing support to the assembly lines in the form of making parts with or without a blueprint to replace worn and broken ones
• Work with machinery in a safe yet precise and timely manner in order to produce an accurate part to specification
• Microsoft Excel
• Attended ZF Production Systems, Lean Manufacturing, Arc Flash, and Leadership (ILead) Trainings
• Frequently take inventory and examine all consumables and shop tooling for condition and quantity
• Use Cad modeling software to design or modify parts and prints in order to solve reliability issues
• Implement and maintain 5S practices within my work area
• Manage time in order to finish all projects in a timely manner
• Prioritize projects by examining level of importance to production lines
• Guide and mentor project coaches and peers
• Work as a team with manufacturing engineers to effectively complete day to day tasks
• Design and implement weekly value improvement ideas
• Lead continuous improvement Projects with a team and report back to supervisor with results
