  • Managed and generated all Custom Production Equipment proposals for Valerus. During my tenure as the Customer Production Equipment PC I was responsible for increasing our proposal on time delivery from 67% to 93% in a time span of (6) months.

  • Initiated and coordinated the bid process which tracked all incoming RFQ’s via Microsoft Dynamics for (8) Account Mangers in the Houston/Gulf Coast region.
  • Served as the Proposal Coordinator for Valerus’s largest and most profitable region.
  • Screened all RFQ’s to make sure the required design conditions were provided, coordinating the proposal process through all internal departments (i.e. Applications/Engineering/ Estimating) to deliver a detailed proposal to the Account Manager and ultimately the customer.
  • Quick size equipment in order to validate applications for standard/stock equipment.
  • Achievements:
  • Along with a handful of colleagues we took a “test” group and turned it into a vital function within in the company through its growth and eventual acquisition. The Proposal Coordinator role still exists and serves as an intermediary function between sales and applications both domestically and internationally.
  • Chosen as the lead Proposal Coordinator to work with our “Process Excellence Team” (Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing) to create/define process map for the Domestic Sales RFQ to Proposal process.
