I've been a certified driver and an Inventory Supervisor since March of 2023, during this time I've had the pleasure to run inventories for all of our dollar team customers, as well as assist in running several jobs outside our normal job duties ( Gabes, JC Penny, Medicine Shoppes, Franklin Storage). I've also made myself available to travel anywhere in the country help was needed, during my career I've travel to Detroit, Kentucky, and Buffalo to either provide assistance with Supervisor assistance or more importantly to myself training assistance. During my time as a supervisor I've Mentored one brand new IA from the training stage in 7-11 to become a top Supervisor in District 3681. My priorities as a Supervisor are and always have been Safety, policy and rules enforcement, and training efficiency to work keep company cost down while teaching IA's counting speed to help them increase there pay rates by ranking up, providing wins for both our employees and the company.
During my career at crossmark I had several different responsibilities depending on the team I was assigned to. I started on the Glidden Walmart dedicated team, on which my responsibilities included running a territory of 33 Walmart stores in the Orlando area where I was responsible for everything Glidden paint related in every location. I was responsible for making sure all paint supplies where available for our customers, all paint equipment was working properly and if not I was responsible for filing repair orders to have the equipment repaired ASAP so customers can be back in business. I also was on-call to the DM 24/7 to handle any emergency issues that needed handled anywhere in the southern half of the state, this included but was not limited to: customer complaint issues about our employees (was my job to go investigate the issue and report and recommend the best course of action needed to fix the issue), training of new employees, covering open territories, fixing equipment software issues (we didn't fix hardware issues), I could do anything and everything our DM could do but Hire and fire employees, I could recommend termination but the final determination was his. Next I worked for the Mondelez dedicated team (Nabisco) where my responsibilities included a territory of about 130 stores that I visited month to maintain all approved items for our client and make sure stores had appropriate inventory in stock for their customers needs. Our stores included everything from small convenience stores to Grocery stores to the large Big box stores. I also worked for the Southeastern Grocery Team, where I was a member of a traveling reset team, we would travel the entire southeastern US and complete full store resets of all Winn Dixie stores and other stores owned by SEG. The last team I worked for was the JUUL dedicated team when I moved to PA, where I was responsible for helping educate stores about the JUUL products, secure sales, provide display units for stores, and increase POS opportunities for our client.
My job duties included hitting weekly sales goals by working with my customers to purchase products and deals to sell in their locations. I was responsible for hitting weekly, monthly and yearly sales goals which grew year over year based on previous years sales. I was also responsible for stocking all product sold, merchandising, rotation of product, inventory preparation for stores, maintaining proper customer relationships necessary to secure sales, and organize and manage the planning of upcoming events at each account to make sure all stores had the proper products available where needed before the beginning of event to maximize sales and prevent loss of business.
