• Conduct searches of prisoners/detainees to prevent contraband from entering federal facility
• Interview Material Witnesses (MATWIT), victims of sexual assault and principal defendants
• Escort inmates from cellblock to attorney booth; escort prisoners from courthouse to cellblock
• Transport prisoners to/from US courthouse to El Paso County Jail
• Apply/remove restraints (handcuffs, leg irons, and waist chains)
• Prepare DNA swab kits; maintain cellblock management;Prisoner Processing
• Photographs inmates to include tattoos to determine gang association
• Taking inmates signatures stating their acknowledgement of no property claim and medical care if necessary
• User Access Level to USMS system (JDIS) Justice Detainee Information System also (PTS) Prisoner Tracking System and identifying and documenting TCO (Transnational Criminal Organizations) members and affiliates such as; narcotics, human trafficking, people smuggling, smuggling/trafficking of illegal goods
• Completed paperwork and processing duties for incoming inmates and arrestees, including booking documentation, fingerprints, and medical history
• Prepare staffing and shifting schedule; assigned other correctional officer in various central control areas to monitor inmate movement, safety and behavior
• Participated in TTCC (Tactical Trauma Combat Care) course involving suicide, team management, entry/moving under fire, cover and concealment, and trauma care

•Operate motorized and manual equipment including forklifts, pallet trucks, and hand trucks to handle freight •Ensure that documentation matches incoming and outgoing freight

•Unload, sort, stack, and identify all products to maximize space and weight distribution

•Route package’s through facility for next delivery truck

•Inspect packages for damage and follow proper handling protocols • Follow company rules and procedures; train new employees

•Consult with delivery drivers when loading trucks for deliveries
