  • Developing and Managing LTSS Programs: Started as a HCC for the HCBW for the Physically Disabled within the district offices. Championed moving the waiver processes into a digital presence, finding efficiencies, and identifying quality assurance issues. Championed an overhaul of the Katie Beckett program including the premium payment process, leading an increase in premium income from less than $75k to a current income of close to $500k.
  • Minimum of Five Years Leading HCBW’s: Started as a HCCI administering the waiver and over the course of the next 10 + yrs including being promoted to supervisor over the physically disabled waiver in the north and assigned task of training staff statewide. Worked collaboratively with our sister agency on other HCBW’s over the last 18yrs including transferring the physically disabled waiver to ADSD. Worked collaboratively in the design and use of the HCBW case management software.
  • Clinical or Operational Experience of Care Coordination: In the second year with the Division, promoted to supervisor in the Northern District Offices and collaboratively oversaw the Care Coordination Program. This included the development of the No Wrong Door Principles. Collaboratively developed new processes and software to allow tracking and reduce member frustrations. Developed the state wide customer service call center to allow CM’s across the state to intervene with the members, reducing long wait times to interact with a HCC.
  • Engagement with National LTSS Networks and Policy: Collaboratively work with internal and external teams in developing many aspects of policies, updating and adding SPA’s for many programs including LTSS programs. Work easily in guiding teams of wide subject expertise to ensure as much success in developing new policy with state approved vendors
