As a Group Care Licensor, I was responsible for monitoring licensed group care facilities. I worked with providers supporting fifteen different facilities.

In this Area Administrator position I supported two LD/CPS units and two Foster Care Licensing units as well as two Administrative Assistant positions. This position covered Regions One and Two as well as covering the whole state at times. I worked closely with partners with DCYF's Child Welfare, Child Care, Juvenile Rehabilitation, Group Care and Kinship Licensing, AAG's, Constituent Relations, Ombudsmen's Office, providers of all types.

In this position I supervised four state Foster Care Licensors and four Regional Licensors. This unit supported general foster care homes, child placing agencies, private agency foster homes and all group care providers in Region One.

I supervised six Facility Investigators and one Administrative Assistant in Region One. This team completed child abuse and neglect investigations in licensed facilities, state regulated facilities and others providers subject to licensing standards.

In this position I supervised four state Foster Care Licensors and four Regional Licensors. This unit supported general foster care homes, child placing agencies, private agency foster homes and all group care providers in Region One.

In this position I had a caseload of Group Care facilities, Child Placing Agencies, Private Agency Foster Homes. I worked non-cps complaints, completed renewals, moves, health and safety inspections. I also provided technical assistance to providers to help them comply with WACs and their own policies.

In this position I completed investigations of allegations of abuse and neglect and noting violations of WACs. I completed case notes and reports timely on license facilities and some unlicensed providers that were subjected to licensing standards.

I provided proactive case management services and supervision for up to 16 youth incarcerated at Ridgeview Group Home and committed to JRA custody.

I provided proactive case management services and supervision for between 80 and 100 youth incarcerated at Mission Creek Youth Camp and committed to JRA custody.
