This job involves both management skills and some direct care. Most of the job involves communication and coordination of appointments and care of residents. I oversee and facilitate direct care staff in completion of their duties on the assisted living and memory care units. I also do some direct care work when we are short staffed or when the task involved exceeds the licensure or comfort level of the staff, such as injections, wound care and catheterizations.
