Specify, test and maintain a variety of data circuits including 3002, 56K-DDS, 64K-ADN
and DS-1 & DS-3 Hicap services.

Install and maintain spread-spectrum and licensed T1 microwave radio systems.

Technical Manager of substation SCADA system. (Master station programming, RTU installation and maintenance.)

Calibrate Revenue metering and AC transducers.

Test & certify substation Protective relaying.

Maintain as-built documentation via Autocad.

Install and program data-loggers for meteorological instrumentation.

Manage NERC compliance for multiple Substations & High Voltage collection systems.

Provide 24-hour coverage for system failures.

· Turnup, test & maintain DS-1 & DS-3 Hicap Services.

· Identify the cause & location of network trouble.

· Coordinate the provisioning of Hicap Data Services including DS-3.

· Provide remote testing support to help other workgroups correct network trouble.

· Provide single point of contact for customers during failures & provisioning of Hicap Data Services.

Responsible for the installation and maintenance of data communications systems including voice/data„ SCADA, tele-metering, and the instrumentation of electric power plants.

Provide 24/7 response for failures of telecommunications systems related to the operation of electric power plants

• Maintained optimal performance of underground transmission systems, wind field substations, fiber optic sensing and control systems.
