Michael Halperin

• Division Officer of the Level 500 Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Program, the highest pilot qualification in the P-8A. Responsible for training, standardization, and course content for the Weapons and Tactics Instructor Program.

• Instructs and evaluates newly-winged Naval Aviators at Patrol Squadron 30 on the P-8A.

• Serves as Instructor for the P-8A Fleet Instructor-Under-Training (FIUT) Course, tasked with shaping and

developing future generations of P-8A Instructor Pilots.

• Conducts NATOPS and Instrument Check evaluations for fellow instructor pilots.

• Lead Instructor Pilot at VP-45. Managed the qualification, certification, and administrative documentation of 38 Squadron Pilots.

• Commanded worldwide airborne reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare missions throughout the United States as well as the Pacific theater.

• Served as Officer in Charge of three separate detachments in support of operations in U-Tapao, Thailand as well as Atsugi, Japan and Clark AFB, Philippines.

• Served as Crew Resource Management-Instructor and Unit Level Manager for VP-45.

• Completed initial aviation training in the T-6B, T-44C, and P-8A, consisting of ground, simulator, and flight training in both normal and emergency procedures.
