  • Developed new strategic vision and 3 year planning process to redefine the companies portfolio and strategic direction including future organic and inorganic growth plans for all operating divisions. Total revenue grew from $250 to $400 million in three years.

  • BJs Wholesale Club, Westborough, MA - Hired (Head of Optical) to transition an Optical business from a third-party managed to a wholly owned business model. Produced 212 Optical Retail doors with revenues of $100 million and double-digit EBITDA. Engineered the business for profitability and scale including building infrastructure: Supply Chain, Lab Operations, Frame Assortment, Exam Capabilities, Manage Vision Care integration, Store Design, and Labor model.
  • US Vision, Philadelphia, PA - Contracted to lead PE owned Optical business through operations transformation. Assessed current operations platform, leadership team, and marketing strategy.
  • Alyce Paris, Chicago, IL – Hired (President & COO) to lead the transformation of ALYCE Paris, a 48-year-old privately held brand and world's leading manufacturer of women's evening wear. Full P&L responsibility for 1000+ global customers, offices and distribution in Chicago, and manufacturing in China.
  • Sama Eyewear, Beverly Hills, CA - Contracted to develop strategic growth plans for a $15M dollar business. Those plans resulted in growing revenue to $24M over the next three years.

  • Co-Led Luxottica Groups entry in the premium Sunglass category with acquisition of $750 million Sunglass Hut Brand scaling the brand in 10 years to over $1 billion in revenue, 3000 stores resulting in Luxottica becoming the world largest Sun retailer. Drove total sales and OI growth of +38%, comp sales growth of +27% by re-positioning brand, and achieved 50% market share in the premium sunglass market. Responsibilities included 900 Macy's Host Stores,150 Outlets,150 Hudson News Airport Stores, retail development, acquisitions, real estate, and store operations.
  • Spearheaded Sunglass Hut's inorganic growth with the acquisition 17 companies adding $150 million in revenue and strategic real estate locations.
  • Host Environments Development - Orchestrated Sunglass Hut's "highly profitable" Licensed business in host environments like Macy's and Hudson Group yielding over 900 Sunglass Hut Shop-n-Shops and $350 million in revenue at department stores and airports.
  • De novo Brand Launch - Launched Luxottica Groups first organic Luxury retail brand ILORI in September 2007. Built a $45 million Luxury Retail division with over 50 stores on America's most distinguished “high streets”. Direct responsibility for Brand Management, Strategic Planning, P&L, Customer Satisfaction, and supervision of Marketing, Operations, Buying, Merchandising, and Financial Functions.
