Summary

My education and experience are vast as it pertains to this position. I have over twenty-five years of experience in the Florida Fire Service as a Firefighter/EMT and five years in the Florida Forest Service as a Forest Ranger. I hold an associate degree in Fire Science and Major Course work in Fire and Emergency Management as well as Public Administration. I have received many course certificates from the National Fire Academy. I also hold many State certifications that pertain to my Fire Service Career. I was appointed and assigned the Daytona Beach Fire Department Health and Safety Officer. That position was held from July 2011 till my retirement in December 2020.

My Florida Forest Service experience is not as vast as my Fire Service Career, but I am constantly continuing to learn and gain proper experience needed to be a better asset to the agency. I am currently an EMT for the State as well as a CPR Instructor and I member of the EMR Cadre. I have also held the position of Co-Safety Chair for the old Bunnell District for three years.
