Feeder/Piler/Binder Helper/Backend Utility Relief
As a Feeder
Properly feed signatures into hand packers or bomacks. Ensuring we are running the proper edition of stock. Following safety procedures while lifting & bending. Keeping my section clean by great house keeping.
As a Piler
Piling or stacking down different bundles of magazines or catalogs. Following flag requirements upon the orders given from the start of a load to finish. Paying close attention to edition changes & load ID to ensure the load went out correctly & complete.
As a Binder Helper
Feeding a signature called a cover to meet the backbone to become glued on as the signatures were coming from the Gather(front) to the Backend as they were sawed evening to further go around the binder to be met by glue & cover breaker. Cover breaker would pinch the cover precisely upon the signatures as the glue hardened. Then on down the line it traveled to where it was going to become piled off according to certain flags. Also maintaining the run of line offering teamwork to ensure the production was ongoing.
As a Backend Utility Relief
Properly maintain the backend of line to run accordingly. Even properly doing makeready or run off procedures correctly. Making sure flags were done properly to maintain the communication with the piler upon what's going on upon what we would be shipping out or sending to other binder lines called offline equipment. If there was any downtime that I couldn't manage fixing alone, I would let the Backend Operator know immediately. Production was mine main focus to ensure the delivery was met on time.
Boxer/Bagger/Operator
Boxer
Making sure the correct amount of products were applied in different size boxes depending on the product being made. Staples were added or tape depending on what the orders were called for. Finally, stacking them on a skid to a specific size upon the order given.
Bagger
Simply applying bags around different mops or brooms at the head to ensure the fibers to remain fixed in location upon being boxed later on.
Operator
Production was a must. Keeping the machine running was a priority even though down time happened often but act efficiently to get a mechanical to fix the issue. Any down time was no doubt clean up time. Utilizing your down time to further prepare the machine to run much more & great house keeping.
Building displayed projects on my walls in my home. I love to challenge myself upon different projects to see what I can achieve. As for outdoors. I have a green thumb upon planting or having things built or organized to attribute to holding plants. Building my back wooden brick sofa was remarkable.
