- Provide advice and technical assistance to unit commanders in conducting their unit level sports program
- Successfully plan, conduct, and direct a year-round sports and athletic program consisting of eleven sports as well as numerous tournaments and special events
- Direct a wide variety of recreation and sports facilities
- Schedule supervises and conducts pre-season clinics or seminars for training and development of coaches and managers
- Have developed installation athletic program for intramural, extramural and varsity sports
- Consistently exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities
