Serve as Chief of Sports, Athletics and Intramural Programs for a Community of 15,000+ individuals consisting of 100% of total troops, officers, dependents and retired personnel

Provide advice and technical assistance to unit commanders in conducting their unit level sports program
Successfully plan, conduct, and direct a year-round sports and athletic program consisting of eleven sports as well as numerous tournaments and special events
Direct a wide variety of recreation and sports facilities
Schedule supervises and conducts pre-season clinics or seminars for training and development of coaches and managers
Have developed installation athletic program for intramural, extramural and varsity sports
Successfully supervises and assign work tasks to employees and monitor performance of subordinates
Recruit interview and select applications for hire
Approve leave as well as initiate or recommended personnel actions such as promotions demotions reassignment and disciplinary actions
Evaluate and select professional instructions to be placed under contract for teaching selected individual sports
Exceptionally skilled in preparing budgets, program evaluations, and facility administration; managing financial and physical resources of fitness and sports programs; and in effectively organizing and utilizing available resources within the program framework
Prepares APF and NAF budgets and resale operations for installation sports and athletic programs
Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail in conducting Athletic events at unit level and major events
Have supported soldiers, spouses, family members and retirees for over 38 years
