In my many years working in different job environments I've always been able to adapt to whatever was presented to me. At the same time I felt they were just jobs. Appreciate the opportunity to start a career.

Work History

Independent Laborer

  • Responsibilities were anything that was needed
  • Many jobs that could be from tearing down and rebuilding sections of a site to completely starting from scratch
  • Successfully involved in building two houses
  • Beginning with the concrete foundation
  • Constructing and reinforcing the flooring
  • Framing the walls, doorways and stairwells
  • Framing the roof then roofing
  • Prepping the inside for flooring and painting.

  • Main priority was to take orders from guests
  • Make sure the order was placed properly into the computer that was sent to the kitchen so the chefs could cook the food without any mistakes
  • Trained new employees
  • Being the senior server make sure my coworkers were on top of their responsibilities and were doing so in a positive manner.

The Bedroom Store

  • Main priority was to sell the merchandise
  • This included building a rapport with the guest as well as listening to their needs to find out what would be ideal to their satisfaction
  • Place the orders, follow up and ensuring the process went smoothly
  • Other responsibilities were maintaining the showroom floor as well as warehouse
  • The Maryland Heights location was our second base as far as where merchandise would be delivered from
  • I would set up deliveries and also recieve
  • Communicating with the main warehouse and other locations so deliveries went smoothly was key.

Cecil Whittaker's Pizzeria

  • As a cook I would make the various items on the menu
  • Bag them up properly and prepare them for pick up
  • As a delivery driver I would collect the items for each order and secure them for transport
  • Drop the items off at the correct address and collect payment.
