I have been in the fire service for 25 years. I began my service with the Cheddar Fire Department, a division of Anderson County, as a volunteer and served with them for 15 years.

I am a graduate of the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association Leadership Institute in 2022. I am also a graduate of the South Carolina State Association of Fire Chiefs’ Chief Fire Officer Program in 2024. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration from Columbia Southern University. I plan to get my master’s degree and apply for the executive fire officer program at the National Fire Academy.
