• I started off as a stocker, made my way up to this position. I ordered, stocked, and keep everything organized in the frozen section of the store.

I stared Lowes as a truck unloader. Lots of physical work, I organized freight by department and sent it to the according department in the store.

The next job after unloading is putting up that freight. I moved to overnight because of the extra hours. Stocking meant putting product on the shelf and in the overstock locations, keeping everything logged in the stores inventory locations.

Delivery is where I’ve spent the majority of my time here at Lowes. I was responsible for pulling both deliveries for appliance and flatbed trucks. I made sure all appliances scheduled for deliveries were ready to go on the trucks first thing in the mornings. Flatbed deliveries are usually large orders of lumber, shingles, soil/mulch. And it was my responsibility to make sure those deliveries went out every morning. I also kept all of the appliances in the back room checked into every location so anyone else in the store could find what they needed.
