Due to growing up in a household surrounded by music and having a brother that was very into playing music, I inevitably picked up the hobby. I had joined a guitar class freshman year where I learned that I do have a genuine interest and passion for the instrument and music in general. I later joined my school's Jazz Band under the title of Mesa's first jazz guitarist. I have been occupying myself with the responsibilities that come with that ever since. Doing this has given me many opportunities to visit a plethora of places I would have no other reason to visit. I have met many people and have been forced out of my shell through all of that and it established a sense of professionalism and extraversion that I now show in my every day life.
In 8th grade, I had previously become overweight due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Eventually my parents and I saw it as a health issue due to me being asthmatic, so we signed me up for Bok Fu classes at Marinoble's Martial Arts. I ended up loving the exercise and the community there and had eventually become an assistant instructor and sometimes a children's MMA instructor. I eventually left for MVHS Wrestling which fell through and I didn't go back to Marinoble's because of the expensive nature of the memberships. I searched for a new physical activity to do, until I found an interest in heavy lifting and making myself look aesthetically pleasing. I have ever since been going to 24 Hour Fitness, practicing my techniques for powerlifting and improving the weight I can lift, while simultaneously building my body to visibly appear stronger. Doing this has greatly improved my mental health, physical fitness and health, and my willingness and promptness to work.
