- Their leaders had to have knowledge of each step of the weld process and know the quickest and most efficient way of getting each task accomplished as well as being able to teach it to others
- The leads were expected to do the R and D process of the new model boat sude by side with the engineers
- We were required to be capable of operating the forklift, the bender,hand held plama cutter, as well as minor maintenance to our welding machines such as blowing them out,changing bad rollers,changing leads or gas regulators, as well as check the gas lines for leaks on a regular basis and we spent a big majority of our time building boats.During my time at Vexus I was a lead over the pad boat line as well as the RB Bay Boats.

- I moved from Texas to Arkansas to start over and the only job available was in the seat department so I assembled seats for 6 months until a welding position became available
- I worked as a aluminum welder for the next 8 months and during this time I learned to build their Mod V line up of boats,the Pad line up of boats ,and the Deep V line up.After 8 months I was made team leader.
