• Oversight and development of the budget for the fiscal year for the entire organization and segmented by store including:
• Developed variable margins by subdepartment to ensure bottom line profitability after all costs
• Developed sales goals based on past-performance, new initiatives and segmented with reference to the strengths and weaknesses of each location
• Responsibility for all regulatory compliance reporting and in-person inspections including Organic Standards, health department, fire, and safety
• Participated as a lead negotiator in three successive union negotiations as well as participation in mediations and grievance handling
• Participated in strategic planning as well as weekly reporting on performance metrics to relevant teams
• Interface with the board of directors as designated interim General Manager
• Oversight of all maintenance and repairs for two retail buildings and associated properties
